The 2016 Red Willow Vineyard Old Salt is very similar to the last two vintages. It is a blend of 71% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Cabernet Franc. Raspberry, herb, and cherry aromas. Medium bodied with dark chocolate and cherry flavors. It shows a lovely sense of balance and restraint (Wine Enthusiast 89 points).
The 2014 Red Willow Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 7% Merlot, and 5% Malbec. It is bright and fresh with notes of dark raspberry, dried herb, jam and tar. It has superbly balanced fruit flavors that linger on the finish (Wine Enthusiast 91 points).
The 2016 Red Willow Vineyard Syrah, Eight Clones is very similar to our previous vintages. It is a blend of eight different clones of Syrah, along with pinches of Grenache and Viognier. Lighter in color, the aromas leap up, with notes of blueberry, fresh raspberry, flower, tangerine peel and dried and fresh herbs.
